Kanda Math-Cee is a chapter in the narrative of a former incarnations of the Buddha titled " Vessantara Jataka ", the last incarnation before he enlightened to be the Buddha. The picture shows that Math-Cee is on the way back from finding food. But suddenly the lion and the tiger are in her way as they are afraid that she might hinder Pravas Sandon from doing a great donation by giving their children, Kanha and Chalee, to Choochok. The artist would like to show the felling of love and care of a mother who is going to lose her children. |
