" Sasi " means a rabbit, " Monthon " means a territory. Combined together, Sasi-Monthon means the territory of a rabbit. In this respect, however, it means the moon because the rabbit is a symbol of the moon. The artist would like to present the scene when the gods of the moon, (according to the Thai people's belief, he is the son of the darkness) is flying along with the carriages and his followers.
