At the beginning, Thai art was not in my interest. It was the academic results I got from this subject while I was in a secondary school that sparkled my eagerness to learn Thai traditional designs. I began to study traditional Thai painting seriously by drawing and making reproductions from many great Thai artists fine works in the past. I realize that their works were created with the high level of aesthetic spirit. I can see through their classic paintings, the reflections of the past. The outcome of their sophistication and dedication to Thai art is an analogy to a page recorded in the big book called "Thai History". The Thai way of living, including customs, values, religious beliefs, andperception of art which are beyond the power of words to explain. Artists are best known for their abilities to capture the details of objects on earth such as wood barks and stones. Elegant Lines, curves and colors, drawn from the artists' view of these items in the nature are embedded in every detail of their work. Their drawings are gentle yet powerful in expression. This creates the love and the delight to feel the beauty within as well as the pride in Thai art.I can say with full of confidence that Thai art is one of the greatest forms of art in the world.
